EST 2003
                                                 Feb. 3, 2010

I see where the weather forecaster predicted 6 more weeks of winter a
few days ago.  Unfortunately he is correct more often than the weather
forecasters on television.  So until the weather gets right, I encourage
everyone to get their waiver forms and dues in.  Respective officers of
the chapters, let’s get those reports to the state. If we can get this done
then there will be nothing to do but ride and enjoy.

The TravelingMen have been requested to co-ordinate and oversee the
transportation needs for the International Grand Masters Convention that
will be in Atlanta in 2012.  For those who wish to help, this will be a great
opportunity to meet the Grand Masters from all over and to put the
TravelingMen in the spotlight.  Planning sessions are in the works and I
will be getting more information out as it is available.

Chapter 4 has 4-5 new members from Sincerity Lodge.  We welcome them
and look forward to riding with them soon.

Our annual meeting last year was well attended, and I thank everyone
who came. Several committees were set up to accomplish needed tasks.
If you are on any of the committees, you should have heard from them by
now. The 2010 annual meeting will be hosted by the Hiram’s Hooligans
chapter in Savannah in October.  They are a great bunch and I look
forward to being in Savannah for a good time.

On Feb 13th, we will be installing Chapter #15 in Rome, Ga.  The calendar
has the specifics as to time and place.  I hope the chapters in the area
will be there to support the installation of this new Chapter.  It will be
known as the Johnny Agan chapter as it is being established in his name.
Just a few months ago I had travelled to Rome to speak to Johnny and
interested members about establishing a chapter there.  This is the first
chapter that I have installed that is named after a deceased brother, and
it is both a happy occasion and a somber one at the same time.

Until next time, ride safe, leave everyone that you come into contact with
better and happier for the experience, and thank God for all we have.

TravelingMen, State President
